About Me

Hello! Welcome to my little corner of the internet.

snapshot_johnnyMy name is Johnny Mills and recently graduated from Stevenson University with a Bachelors in Business Communication. Since graduation, I have moved out of Baltimore and to Philadelphia, where I work at a high school – Freire Charter School. I have a passion for design and good advertising that is both simple and informative. This site will be covered with everything from personal projects to internship work, as well as random designs and articles that I have used or found helpful.

I graduated in May 2014 and began my job as the Administrative Assistant to the Head of Academic Affairs/Director of Admissions at Freire Charter School that same month. I have fallen in love with my job here at the high school and the many opportunities I have to exercise my marketing and advertising skills, both through graphic design and  communication.

Previously, I worked with Stevenson University’s Office of Alumni Relations as their Marketing and Social Media Intern and it was awesome! While interning there, I mastered skills in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator as well as understanding successful marketing strategies for social media.

Alongside my work with the Office of Alumni Relations, I was also active in numerous clubs and organizations around Stevenson’s campus, including: Mission: I’m Home, The Q Group, and Student Government Association; all of which I did marketing and advertising projects for.

I hope you enjoy the pieces you see here on my site and if you have any questions or comments, feel free to shoot me a quick email: jmills7655@gmail.com

Thanks for stopping by,

~ Johnny Mills
